I got an idea reading a post from Wobbles the Mind that mentioned the Acura RLX and Kia K900. With sales almost nonexistent for those two (both under 1000 for the year, with the Kia at half that) what other models are about to fall off the turnip truck into obscurity?

Also, AWD 3.5 turbo’s can be made pretty damn quick.

even a nonturbo 3.5 is fun to drive. My old MKZ with a tune and intake rumbled nicely

The AWD turbo 3.5 is pretty damn quick, even before mods. Of course lots of mods exist to make it even faster. It’s basically a Taurus SHO, after all. My wife has one. I like it.

Toyota Yaris. I recently discovered these were still on sale the other day.

The RLX drops a ton of depreciation in the first year, like 20-25K. I was looking into one a little while ago.

you’ve got to be careful, though; the stock calibration already has it close to the 6F55 transaxle’s input torque rating.

That’s exactly what my wife did. I wouldn’t call it cheap af, but it was about half the price of a new one, which aside from the nose and the infotainment is exactly the same.

Not surprised. That’s why all I’ve done is open up the stock blow-off valves to vent to atmosphere instead of recirculate. You should see the looks I get from WRXs, FiSTs, etc. when our Flex goes PSSSSHHH...

Yep. I'm doing head work, cams, exhaust and throttle body on my Town Car. It'll be the fastest parade float you ever saw. :)

The Caddy ELR can be added to the list. Nothing was really wrong with it, but in the world of Tesla Model S at the same price, the green-market won’t even sniff that hybrid at $70k.
Meanwhile, cheap on the open market.

Fusion Sport parts translated over no problem. The MKZ is essentially a Fusion Sport with more leather and toy. Had to cut the box a little to fit around the HIDs for the CAI. The tune is pretty standard plug and play stuff. Next would have been an exhaust, but I sold it and rolled in a car without a payment for a while.
